Norwegian/Indian pianist Beena Kumar Karpisova was born and raised in Norway. She has followed her dream since she was a little girl to play the piano.

She finished her Master degree in piano playing and pedagogy in 2007 in the Academy of performing arts in Bratislava, capitol of Slovakia.

Her work spans from performing alone or with other artists for different occasions. Currently her new and growing passion is the organ which she is studying at the Institute of music, University of Stavanger, Norway. The combination of a piano and organ degree gives her benefits as a church musician.

She also works as a piano teacher, both privately and in an institution. Planning and organizing recitals and events is her daily work.
